RISE Robotics Sets GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ Title for Strongest Robotic Arm

Somerville, MA – March 20, 2025RISE Robotics has officially set a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title for the Strongest Robotic Arm Prototype with its Beltdraulic™ SuperJammer Arm, achieving an astonishing lift of 7,015 pounds. The record-breaking event occurred at 1 Union Square, Somerville, MA, with over 80 in-person attendees and more than 100 virtual participants.

Pushing the Boundaries of Industrial Actuation
RISE Robotics, a leader in next-generation industrial actuation, developed the Beltdraulic Super Jammer Arm in collaboration with the U.S. Air Force, aiming to modernize heavy-lift technology while improving efficiency, precision, and sustainability. The arm, featuring six degrees of freedom, significantly outperformed the benchmark of 5,070 pounds for robotic arms.

Andy Glass, Guinness World Records Adjudicator, emphasized the significance of the achievement: "This achievement is more than just a number; it represents a significant leap in zero-emissions technology, proving that electric actuation can surpass traditional hydraulic systems in power and efficiency."

The rigorous adjudication process included testing by Element Testing Labs and an industry benchmark analysis conducted by The Aebli Group, verifying that RISE Robotics had far surpassed the previous record.

A Historic Moment for RISE Robotics
During the award presentation, Hiten Sonpal, CEO of RISE Robotics, addressed the audience: "We're not just lifting weight; we're lifting the standard for what's possible in industrial automation." He also acknowledged the contributions of RISE’s engineering team, investors, and supporters and the company’s deep ties to the Somerville, startup, and robotics communities.

A Team Effort
Achieving this milestone was a collaborative effort, made possible through the dedication of the RISE Robotics team and the expertise of key suppliers. Partners like Tackpoint (precision bearings), Roboteq (motor control for the MHU), and Gates (advanced belt technology) were instrumental in ensuring the system’s performance and reliability. Their contributions played a crucial role in setting this world record.

Following the official adjudication, attendees celebrated the milestone with a live demonstration, showcasing the Beltdraulic Super Jammer’s unparalleled strength, agility, and efficiency. The event concluded with an Irish-themed celebration in honor of St. Patrick’s Day week, featuring live music by Calum Bell & Friends and an Irish mobile bar, The Wandering Druid.

Continued Momentum and Investment Opportunities
With this world-record achievement, industry interest in RISE Robotics and its Beltdraulic technology is stronger than ever. The company’s investment round is now over 75% subscribed, offering investors a unique opportunity to be part of a groundbreaking shift in industrial automation.
